Design Concept

 

실물화상기는 일상에서는 제품의 목적이 드러나지 않고, 공간 안에 자연스럽게 놓이는 하나의 오브제처럼 인식되도록 설계되었습니다.

원뿔 형태의 단순한 볼륨은 안정적인 베이스 역할을 하며, 내부에 기능을 응축하여 외형은 최대한 절제된 형태로 유지됩니다.

상단의 힌지 구조를 열면 숨겨져 있던 암 구조가 전개되며, 정적인 오브제는 기능적인 디바이스로 전환됩니다.

이 과정 자체가 제품의 사용 경험이자 인터랙션으로 작동합니다. 전면의 수직 라이트는 평상시에는 무드등으로 공간에 녹아들고, 작동 시에는 촬영 대상을 비추는 조명으로 전환되어 하나의 요소가 두 가지 역할을 수행하도록 설계되었습니다. ​형태, 구조, 기능이 분리되지 않고 하나의 흐름으로 이어지며, 사용하지 않을 때조차 공간의 일부로 존재하는 제품을 지향합니다.

This visual presenter is designed to conceal its functional purpose in everyday use, allowing it to exist as an object seamlessly integrated into the environment. The cone-shaped volume provides a stable base while containing the internal components, maintaining a clean and minimal exterior. When the top hinge is opened, a hidden arm structure unfolds, transforming the static object into a functional device. This transformation itself becomes a key part of the user experience. The vertical light element functions as ambient lighting in its idle state, and transitions into task lighting to illuminate the subject during operation, allowing a single element to serve dual purposes. Form, structure, and function are seamlessly integrated, creating a product that remains visually meaningful even when not in use.
